High Spec Base Vehicle Packages

Our luxury conversions are based on the new facelift Euro 6 Peugeot Boxer and Fiat Ducato 2.2 140hp – these are available with either a 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic gearbox. The 6.36m models are only available with a manual gearbox.

Tracker & Security

Both the Peugeot and Fiat base vehicles come complete with a factory fitted Cat 2 immobiliser and alarm (not Thatcham rated).

Whilst an immobilser and alarm are important security features as with all premium vehicles these days it is advisable to fit a fully monitored tracker – this will also almost certainly be a requirement from your insurance company.

The tracker we fit is a Moving Intelligence iTrack plus S5 – this is recognised by all the major motorhome insurers as a top of the range high level security tracker.

Using the Moving Intelligence app you will be able to monitor the location and movement of your vehicle at all times. Moving Intelligence will also monitor your vehicle with phone alerts when any unauthorised movement is made.

There is an annual monitoring charge of £149 or £13.50 per month payable directly to Moving Intelligence.

230v Mains

Sockets are conveniently placed in the kitchen area and lounge for use when you are on mains, we also include a 25m mains hook-up cable as part of our comprehensive package.

Heating and Plumbing

We have fully utilised the underside of the van to optimise the volume of the fresh and waste water. The underslung tanks are made of a thick insulated and durable high grade plastic so that they will not freeze when in use during the winter months. There is the option of adding a defrost element for use in extreme subzero temperatures.

Truma Diesel & Electric Boiler

The Truma Combi 4de boiler heating and hot water system operates on either diesel or mains electric when on hook-up with an even distribution of heating outlets throughout the van. It is fitted with a digital thermostat and timer so that you can control the heating system day and night.

Refillable Gas Tank

All our vans are fitted with a 25L underslung gas tank with level gauge monitor, this allows you to easily manage your gas and significantly reduces the cost of refilling.

Windows and Rooflights

Privacy tinted double glazed windows and large Heki rooflights ensure that the living area is light, well ventilated and condensation free. All windows and rooflights have blinds and flyscreens – the front cab area comes with fitted Remis cab blinds.

Insulation

All our van conversions are fully insulated with grade 3 thermal insulation, fully winterised and perfect for all year round use.

The Charging System

The quality of your leisure batteries is important which is why we now fit lithium as standard. What is equally important is the means by which the leisure battery is charged – the leisure battery will receive a charge from three sources:

  1. Mains hook up charger – This has been the most common way of charging the leisure batteries and in the past mains hook up was necessary to maintain a charge to the batteries. Now with alternative charge sources available, it is possible to maintain a charge to the leisure batteries without the need for a constant mains supply, giving you the option to spend more time off grid. Typically the charge whilst on mains hook-up will be around 20amps.
  2. 50a battery to battery charger when the engine is running – When the vehicle engine is running, the battery to battery charger charges the leisure batteries. Typically the charge when the engine is running will be between 40 – 50amps. i.e. double that achieved on electric hook-up.
  3. Solar panel with MPPT dual regulator – We fit a roof mounted 160w solar panel with MPPT dual regulator as standard to trickle charge the batteries (the majority of the charge goes to the leisure battery however a small trickle charge also goes to the vehicle battery to prevent it from going flat) giving you several days independent camping. To achieve prolonged periods of static mains free camping we recommend that you add a second 160w solar panel and upgrade to the 460a lithium battery. Typically on a sunny day the charge from 1 x 160w solar panel will be around 6amps and from 2 x 160w solar panels will be around 12amps – clearly this varies relative to the amount and angle of the sunshine.

Nearside Extended Bed (COVE, REEF, PACE, OSLO, DUET)

The nearside part of the bed can be extended from 6’3″ to 6’6″ which works well for our taller customers – this is achieved by taking 3” from the adjacent kitchen unit.

Fixed Single Beds (COVE, REEF, PACE, OSLO, DUET)

The rear lounge layout on our 6m and 6.36m models is available as a fixed single beds layout.

Extra Wide Rear Lounge Seating (COVE, REEF, PACE, OSLO, DUET)

The rear lounge seating is available with wider base cushions making the single bed sleeping area 2’6″ wide as opposed to our standard width of 2’2″. This reduces the gap between the seats but there is still sufficient space to sit and dine comfortably.

Fiamma F80S Awning

The Fiamma wind out awning creates the perfect shade area adjacent to the sliding door for those hot sunny days.

Fiamma Rear Door Mounted Bike Rack

The Fiamma carry-bike is designed specifically for the Fiat Ducato and will carry two bikes with a combined weight of up to 35kg – it folds up against the rear door when not in use.

Standard Tow Bar

We fit a Ducato specific high quality tow bar with 13 pin electrics suitable for towing or to accommodate a tow bar mounted bike rack.

Swing Away Tow Bar (for Bike Rack)

A swing away tow bar can be fitted to take a tow bar mounted bike rack – this will allow the bike rack to swing away from the rear doors giving you full access to the rear boot storage area. We stock both Thule Velo Swing and the Memo Swing Away.

Avtex Smart TV/DVD

We fit the very latest Avtex Smart TV/DVD fitted with an adjustable bracket. The Smart facility gives you access to all your favourite catch up channels, BBC i-player, ITVx etc – use your phone or our Wi-fi router to connect to the internet.

Flyscreen for Sliding Door

An internal sliding flyscreen can be fitted to the sliding door to allow extra ventilation and deter flying insects from getting in.

External Gas Barbeque Point

An external gas barbeque point can be fitted on the near side rear quarter to connect your barbeque to the underslung gas tank supply.

Fresh Water Tank Defrost

A 12v heated element can be fitted to the fresh water tank to help prevent the water freezing in sub-zero temperatures.

Ceramic Paint Protection

A durable ceramic high gloss finish to protect your paint work and maintain it’s shine without the need for polishing, this also makes washing your motorhome so much easier.

12v Air Con with Ringlight

A 12v roof mounted Air Con Unit can be fitted in place of the front 400 x 400 Heki – This will work on or off grid but we recommend the Extended Off Grid pack if this is going to be used more frequently off grid. There is a built-in LED Ringlight to compensate for the daylight lost by replacing the Heki.

Two Burner Gas Hob & Microwave in lieu of gas oven

It is possible to replace the gas three burner hob, grill and oven with a gas two burner hob and 800w microwave. The microwave will work whilst on hook-up but will need the additional option of a 2000w inverter with integrated priority for use off-grid.

2000w Inverter with Integrated Priority

To create mains power up to 2000w an inverter with integrated mains priority can be fitted. This means that the fitted sockets will work from the 12v system up to a maximum of 2000w whilst off-grid but priority will be given to the mains feed when on electric hook-up.

80w Solar Panel and feed for Power Pack

An 80w solar panel with a separate feed cable can be fitted to the rear section on the roof of the van to provide a solar charge to a power pack such as a Jackory or Ecoflow type product. This will help maintain a steady charge to the power pack. Please note we do not supply power packs and you will need to supply the appropriate adaptor to connect the solar feed cable.

Wi-fi Router

We can fit a Kuma 4G Wi-fi router with external aerial in the corner of the rear top locker. This will provide a boost to the Wi-fi signal when in weaker signal areas and is ideal for keeping you online and providing an internet signal for your smart TV – we do not fit any other type of Wi-fi router.

Outdoor Mixer Shower Hot & Cold

An external shower can be fitted on the driver’s side adjacent to the rear wheel section – this is ideal for washing down muddy boots, pets or other outdoor gear. The hot and cold mixere feed makes this more comfortable for pets.

Inline Water Filter

You will use various water sources to fill your fresh water tank on your travels. Each area will have it’s own defined background taste – our Inline water filter will reduce/illiminate any background taste making the water more paletable. This is not a water purifier but will significantly reduce any toxins/chemicals in the water you put into your tank. It is worth noting that our fresh water tank is made of food grade material so any taste will be inherent from the original water supply and not caused/tainted by the tank itself.

Composting Toilet with Corner Basin

As an alterative to our standard Thetford chemical toilet we now offer the Treline composting toilet for those who prefer a separating toilet. This type of toilet will create more options when it comes to disposing of toilet waste and is regarded as a more flexible alternative when not using campsites with an Elsan point.

Our tip up basin will not fit around the composting toilet so we fit a corner basin as a suitable alternative. The composting toilet can be moved within the washroom to create a bigger area for showering.

Extended Off Grid pack

Our extended off-grid pack includes an additional 230a Lithium battery (460a total), an additional 160w solar panel (320w total) and a 2000w inverter with integrated priority – this pack is ideal for those who want to spend more time without the need for electric hook-up.

Gas Free Pack

Traditionally gas has been the main power source for heating and cooking in motorhomes but the hassle of exchanging gas bottles and finding LPG stations has resulted in the quest to find alternative power solutions. Many garage forecourts have now removed their LPG tanks to make way for electric car charging stations.

Cooking and hot water use a minimal amount of gas but blown air heating particularly in the cold winter months uses a significant amount of gas.

Diesel heaters have improved significantly and the new Truma combi diesel boiler (the diesel feed is taken from the van fuel tank) provides heating and hot water – there is also the facility to use electric for heating and hot water when on a mains hook up.

Our Gas Free pack includes the Lithium 460a battery upgrade, additional 160w solar panel, 2000w inverter with integrated mains priority it is now possible to run a low wattage induction hob or microwave/small air fryer for short periods whilst off grid but it must be pointed out that cooking on electric has a significant draw from the battery.

The Truma diesel combi boiler and a gas hob/oven with 25L underslung gas (enough gas to supply the oven for a couple of years or so) is a good combination for off grid use however we realise that some customers may prefer a totally gas free option.

Dog Friendly Fittings

Many of our customers have dogs and we understand how important it is to ensure that your dog travels with you in safety and comfort.

We can fit a number of secure D rings so that you can attach your dogs lead/harness whilst travelling and when on site. These can be positioned to suit your needs and we can help guide you through the positioning of these during the handover process.

We can also fit a seat belt attachment on either the driver or passenger seat base to receive the corresponding harness fitting.

The acess from the sliding door can be fitted with a retractable dog gate – this is on a roller mechanism that retracts and locks in place to create a defined yet flexible barrier across the access. This may not be suitable for larger or very lively dogs but we can show you this in our showroom.
